THANK
YOU !!
Our Carnival was a HUGE
SUCCESS!
We would like to THANK all those who
assisted on the day, those who helped to set the fields up,
those who helped in the canteen and with cooking on the BBQ
and running raffles, those who helped at the front gate, those
who helped with ground control, all the officials, the refs
and those who stayed back and helped pack up and clean the
fields and canteen up.
THANK YOU
We give thanks to all the other Clubs for turning up and
participating in the day with us, as there would not be a
Carnival without the other Clubs
We give a special thanks to all the kids who showed up to
play footy and thank the parents for bringing and supporting
thier kids
It was because of all these helpers, children and parents
that the day was such a success. A day that was enjoyed by
many kids, from the winners to the not so lucky there were
smiling kids everywhere.
FANTASTIC
......... THANK YOU

New Look Thanks To Local Businesses
The Mission
We have been working hard in the off season to secure a new look,
a more unified look, a more proffessional look for 2008. This
includes new jerseys, shorts and socks. In order to achieve this we
required - yes, you guessed it! - $Dollars$. We thought the best way
to achieve long term financial support was to try and secure
sponsors for each team.
We are happy to announce that we are "all
but" sponsored. The response from local businesses has been
overwhelming, many of these business owners have children playing in
our club and understand the importance of what
support means to our children and youth.
Building on community strength.
Approaching potential sponsors has promoted awareness for our
club and sparked positive interest from people who may otherwise not
have had an opportunity to learn about our club. Most of those
businesses that have politely declined sponsorship have not done so
in a negative way - no. There was a genuine interest and some
businesses offered their support in other ways throughout the up and
coming seasons. So we as a club need to show these businesses that
we are serious about these sponsorships and that we will do our best
to promote and support them.
Last season we welcomed a number of businesses to our
club.
- Terry Davy Sportswear
- Smiths Quality Meats
- Savins First National
- Lanes Livestock Transport
- Travelworld
These businesses came together to sponsor the under 9's last
season, which will be the under 10's in 2005.

We had a preview of the jerseys last season when the under 9's
whites put on their newly acquired set of jerseys midway through
last season.
This would not have been possible if it wasn't for
local businesses.
Season 2008 is going to see the entire club run onto the field
with a brand new unified and professional look. AWESOME
!
This will be thanks to local businesses getting behind
local junior sports and supporting the youth of our town and
surrounding areas. A round of applause and a big thank
you goes out to those businesses.
With this
fantastic support from the community we are able to strengthen our
club and continue to give local youngsters an outlet to play rugby
league within our town.
"The Greatest Game Of All"
And remember, these businesses support us, so lets return
the favour and
support them !
